The nylon construction keeps it lightweight and low-profile, while the Kydex insert provides a consistent fit for most metal and polymer STANAG 5.56 magazines. The integrated pull-tab loops also give you the option to add shock cord if you want additional retention.

Where the EMU really separates itself is the mounting setup. The Kydex insert can be configured at 0°, 15°, 30°, or 45°, and its direct-mount bolt pattern gives you more options than a standard MOLLE-only pouch. That makes it easy to tailor the pouch to your belt or carrier setup.
